FAQ

Do I need a prescription to see a physical therapist?

No referral needed. In the state of Tennessee, Direct Access allows a PT to treat a patient for up to 90 days without a doctor’s prescription for physical therapy. This saves many patients the time and expense of another office visit to their doctor as well as more time away from work. We will send the results of our initial evaluation to your doctor to let them know we’re treating you unless you specify otherwise.

How much does it cost?
